Understanding the drivers of emergence of Curreya pithyophila and associated impacts on Caledonian pine

NS Bio contribution. Reference genome assembly from PacBio HiFi long reads (one phragmospore isolate, one dictyospore isolate of C. pithyophila); gene annotation with Funannotate, Augustus, InterProScan5, and EggNOG; Illumina assembly of 40 isolates; mating-type identification; SNP-based population structure analyses with PCA on filtered bi-allelic sites. Funded through Defra’s GAP DC2 programme.
